According to official sources, CCRN test dates are valid for those who pass the exam with a certain score. This score is published in the Federal Standard Health Examination Review, or FSER. Official sources state that there will be four basic FSER tests every five years. If you wish to take the exam, you can choose to take the test for the first year, the second year, the third year and the fourth year.
After passing the examination, you have two options – continue your education by taking further nursing studies or immediately seek employment as a registered nurse. Your fourth option is to contact a licensed practical nurse (LPN) or a registered nurse (RN) to help you with your CCRN test preparation. While this may seem like the most convenient option, it can actually be the hardest. Licensed practical nurses and RNs work very long hours and you don’t always have the spare time to spend studying for a certification test. Also, the LPN and RNs typically work in schools and hospitals where the teachers have more time to devote to studying for the tests.
