Taking the Certified Nursing Assistant courses. These courses are offered by most community colleges and vocational schools. They can be very helpful if you are a new comer to the nursing field. Once you take these courses, you will receive your official CCRN certificate. You will not have to worry about taking the test, however.
Taking the test. When you take the test, you will not have to worry about taking the entire thing online. Instead, you will be able to complete the entire process right at your local testing center. Keep in mind, however, that your state might have different standards for who is allowed to take the test, so you should contact your state’s department of education to find out which CCRN courses you need to complete.
Complete the training. Once you have successfully completed the necessary coursework, you will have to take the AACN CCRN certification verification exam. You will have a limited number of hours to complete this test, which means you should plan on spending plenty of time studying for it. There is no better way to learn what you need to know!
Pass the test. Once you have passed the test, you will become a certified CPR instructor. However, you may not become certified if you do not pass the first time. In order to keep things simple, your state will have a minimum requirement for passing the test.
Take your CPR course. In order to be officially certified as an instructor, you will need to complete a CPR course. You can complete these courses on your own or through a school or training program. Your state will have many requirements on when you need to take the course, and you should check with your state for specifics.
Get your AACN CCRN certification verification. Once you have successfully completed all of the steps above, you will be able to apply for your state certification. The state department of education will give you a certificate when it receives your application, so you should apply for yours right away. Keep in mind that in order to keep your certificate, you will need to complete a certain number of hours in classes each year. If your state does not mandate this, find out what they require in order to maintain your certification.
Be a good candidate. Keep in mind that you will likely have to take a CPR course again within the next few years, so being a good candidate means you should take the class and pass it on your first try. When you first get your certification, the company will want to see that you know what you are doing. As long as you have followed all of the steps above, you should have no problem passing your CPR test and getting your certificate.
Get CPR certified. Your certificate will give you an excellent level of protection, but you need to be trained first in CPR. Find out how to do this and take a refresher class whenever necessary. Make sure that you always follow the steps for the certification verification process and you will be able to ensure your certification stays valid.
Get a CNA (Certified Nurse Anesthetist) training program. You will need to complete a 10-hour training course that takes about three months to complete. You can do this on your own, but the quicker you do it, the better it will be. Many hospitals offer this training program, so it shouldn’t be hard to find one in your area.
Be a licensed aa as well. When you finish your CNA training program, you will have your license, but you won’t have your certificate until you take the a test. This will prove to your employer that you have passed the state licensing board. This is important, so you should make sure that you do it right.
